Engineers at MIT have developed a soft and flexible robot made of hydrogel, a material composed mostly of water. The robot is fast, strong, and almost completely invisible when submerged. The transparent gel robot can perform a number of fast, forceful tasks, including kicking a ball underwater, and grabbing and releasing a live fish.
