Instead of the regular periodic table, here we present to you, the periodic table of elements with the countries for which they were discovered in.

The table was created by “Amazing Maps” and published via Tumblr.

This alternate version of the periodic table has the elements replaced by flags, representing each country for which the element was first discovered.

As seen, it is quite dominated by the European countries and the United States. And it is certainly impressive for such a small country as Sweden to be among the top three.
