This excellent small history documentary was created by Boundary Productions in 2007, about the Antonine Wall in Scotland. The documentary was made within the framework of the European project “Frontiers of the Roman Empire” (Culture 2000 program).

The Antonine Wall is the northernmost frontier monument of the Roman Empire. Construction began in 142 CE at the order of Roman Emperor Antoninus Pius and took about 12 years to complete. It was protected by 16 forts with small fortlets between them. It spanned approximately 63 kilometers (39 miles) and was about 3 meters (10 feet) high and 5 meters (16 feet) wide.
