Mercury put on a rare celestial show, parading across the sun in view of most of the world. NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory watched as Mercury moves across the Sun on November 11, 2019.

The Solar Dynamics Observatory views the Sun in a variety of wavelengths of light in the extreme ultraviolet.

The planet took around five hours to complete its journey.
