The company Orbital Sciences’ Antares rocket exploded just a few seconds after lifting off from NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia on October the 28th in 2014.

It was to be the third robotic resupply mission to the International Space Station. The accident caused no injuries. But Orbital Sciences merged with parts of Alliant Techsystems to form a new company called Orbital ATK earlier this year.

NASA posted the new images to a photo gallery of the Antares launch on its Flickr page, a week after the agency released the results of its investigation into the failure.

The photos are as intense as they are awesome. Check them out below, and click the link to Flickr to view more of them.
